Therapeutic Approaches
We spend the first session getting to know each other: what brought you in, a bit of your history, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. There's no pressure to commit beyond that first appointment.
Sessions two and three go deeper into your background — family, significant relationships, and the experiences that shaped you — so we know where to focus.
Fifty minutes, typically once a week. Patterns start to emerge, and most people notice something shifting within the first couple of months. There's no set endpoint — we check in regularly.
For what an experience left behind: hypervigilance, flashbacks, numbness, a nervous system that never fully stands down. Some things don't respond to talking about them, and when a memory still shows up in your body, your reactions, or your sleep, EMDR works on it directly. Single-incident and complex trauma, childhood experiences, and dissociation.

You hold space all day. Somewhere to set it down: burnout, compassion fatigue, imposter feelings, and the specific loneliness of being the one everyone else leans on.

For teens ages 13 to 18: anxiety, school pressure, identity, friendships, and family dynamics. Real, collaborative sessions that build trust first, with parents involved in a way that respects a teen's privacy.

Your twenties, life after school, and studying far from home. Identity, belonging, family expectations, loneliness, and the pressure to have it all figured out, in English or Mandarin.

The kind that looks like competence from the outside. Overthinking, perfectionism, people-pleasing, panic, and the exhausting math of anticipating what everyone needs before they ask.
Explore: Anxiety
For teens and young adults whose minds move fast and in many directions: tasks that won't start, time that slips away, big feelings, and years of being told to just try harder. Practical tools and self-understanding, in English or Mandarin.
Explore: ADHD
Some seasons are heavy, some are just far away. Low motivation, numbness, the voice that narrates everything you did wrong, and the effort it takes to seem fine.
Explore: Depression
Graduating, changing careers, ending a relationship, moving somewhere new. The in-between chapters, when the old map stops working and the new one hasn't been drawn.
Explore: Life Transitions
The patterns that keep repeating. Boundaries, attachment, dating burnout, family obligation, and learning how to be close to people without disappearing into them.
Explore: Relationships
Emotions at full volume, relationships that swing between closeness and rupture, and a sense of self that shifts with the room. DBT-informed skills first, then the deeper work on where it all came from.
Explore: Borderline Personality Disorder
Self-worth, belonging, cultural expectations, and the quiet question of who you are when nobody's watching or needing anything from you.
Explore: Identity & Self-Esteem
People, relationships, versions of yourself, futures you'd already imagined. Grief doesn't move on a schedule, and it doesn't need fixing. It needs a witness.
